I've worked as a video producer at Gizmodo Media Group (GMG) where I shot, scripted and edited videos for Gizmodo, The Root, Splinter, Lifehacker and other GMG news properties. I worked on breaking news and feature stories ranging from the intersection of privacy and technology to racial justice to social issues. Before that, I was a digital producer at Fusion where I produced video stories on national politics, social justice, religion, immigration and local and global diaspora communities. I've worked for various news outlets including HuffPost, CNN, Orange County Weekly and KPCC, the National Public Radio affiliate of Los Angeles. I graduated from the University of California, Irvine and received my Master's degree from Columbia Journalism School.
